
Erika L. Andersen is an Estate Planning Attorney at The Siegel Law Group, P.A. Before joining the firm, Erika worked for the Office of the State Attorney in the 15th Judicial Circuit as an Assistant State Attorney where she gained court and trial experience as a prosecutor pursuing justice for victims of domestic violence.
Prior to attending law school, Erika received an Associate of Arts magna cum laude from Minnesota State Community and Technical College. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Music cum laude in saxophone and bassoon and a Master of Music summa cum laude in bassoon from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As a post-graduate she received a Professional Performance Certificate in bassoon from Lynn University – Conservatory of Music.
Erika received her J.D. from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she also published a law review on U.S. Constitutional law through the Mitchell Hamline Law Review and was subsequently published on Westlaw. While in law school, she assisted with the Elder Law Project through the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, helping individuals establish estate plans.
Outside of law, Erika is a practitioner of Shito-Ryu Karate-Do, Kokusai Batto-Do, and Okinawan Kobudo. She also enjoys playing her bassoon, making origami, and reading.
